John Heffner, CEO of Creative Nail Design, is the Professional Beauty Association’s (PBA) new governing council chair. His vision is to encourage professionals in the beauty industry to volunteer to make a difference.

“As a leader, it has always been about building world-class teams of high-caliber individuals who continue to set new standards,” Heffner says. “As the chair of PBA’s governing council, I intend to challenge all members of the professional beauty industry to take an active role by replacing complacency with activity, to blaze new trails and lead by example.”

The non-profit PBA represents the interests of the professional beauty industry, from manufacturers and distributors to salons and spas. PBA serves the industry with education, government advocacy, commerce opportunities, research/statistics and public relations/image building.
