Murad Medical Spa Celebrates Ten Years At Current Location

Murad Medical Spa recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary at its El Segundo, Calif. location with an open-house gala to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better celebration,” says Howard Murad, M.D. CEO and founder of Murad, Inc. “It was wonderful to share our 10-year anniversary with all the people who have helped make the Murad Medical Spa what it is today–a nurturing spa environment that provides clinically proven skin and body care treatments.”

Guests enjoyed Murad treatments, witnessed El Segundo Mayor Kelly McDowell proclaim October 11 as Murad Day, and were greeted by surprise guest Jeff Probst, who is host of “Survivor” on CBS. Murad also received an award from John Kobara, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Throughout 2005, Murad honored a big and little sister each month, and invited them to the spa to receive products and facials. This year, Murad also donated scholarships to eight young women from Big Brothers Big Sisters to help them further their educations in fields related to the study of beauty, health or science.
